The Baking Steel arrives ready to use, right out of the box. After its first use, you will notice discoloration on the surface of your Baking Steel. This is normal. The more you use the Baking Steel, the more it will it darken and develop spots. Over time, the surface will become a uniform dark grey, almost black color.
It is important to keep your steel oiled. Season it every few uses to help protect it going forward.
Shipping & Returns
Shipments to be made within 3-5 days via common carriers. US orders only.
If you don't love the Baking Steel, you have 30 days from when the order was shipped to receive a full refund. If your return falls within 30 days from when the order was shipped, we will provide you with a label for return shipping.
For any item that is found defective, you have a 30 day period (from when the order was shipped) to contact us for a replacement. This return policy applies to any item that is found to be defective in material or workmanship when put to normal household use and cared for according to the instructions.
